This is the first post for the newly formatted Troop 533 website. I've moved it to a blog format, in order to be able to use managed tools.
Along these lines, I am looking for someone who can take over management of the Troop website. I am preparing a document that outlines different components, and can spend some time working with you in how to proceed with managing the site. We help Boy Scout Troops to become
intentional disciple making Troops.
We envision a movement of thousands of courageous fathers and their sons passionately following Christ, representing Him in advancing the Gospel through relationships developed while involved in the scouting movement. As well as where they work, live and go to school. This movement includes families of all races and permeates the scouting community not only in the United States but around the world.
Our mission is to reach the world for Christ one person at a time through the vehicle of Scouting. We do this by discipling fathers and their sons in Jesus Christ.
Our methods for helping these young men and their dads to grow in maturity is to conduct meaningful, exciting and effective mental, physical, spiritual and social development while they are part of the Boy Scout movement.
